Avocado Toast Under 3 Minutes
Avocado Toast: On the run for breakfast? No time to sit and eat? Well, fix this quick meal in one on the go. It takes about 3 minutes to make in total. Ingredients
- 2 Multigrain Toast vegan, egg & dairy-free*
- 1 Ripe Avocado if large for two people; 2 avocados if small*
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Sprinkle Garlic Powder
- Sprinkle Onion Powder
- Dash of Crushed Red Pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to broil on high (adjust toaster to your preferred setting):
- Toast: Toast bread slices on top rack in toaster/oven broil (monitor time closely. It takes approx 1 min total to toast both sides).
- Cut: Cut slightly ripe avocado (it is ripe if it yields to light pressure or the nub-stem remove easily with a fingernail) lengthwise.
- Mash: Mash avocado(s) slightly in a small bowl.*
- Mix: Add and mix the remaining ingredients well.
- Spread: Spread over toast.
Notes
*Use 1/2 an avocado for one person. Store remaining avocado in the refrigerator with pit intact and drizzle lemon juice on top to help prevent oxidation (browning of the avocado flesh). Wrap in plastic wrap/plastic bag/or store in silicon refrigerator storage bag. *Taste and adjust seasoning to liking. Add a dash of Himalayan Sea Salt if desired. *Use the mashed avocado in a wrap/flatbread/pita/atop of green salad/crackers. Have fun! Enjoy God's goodness!
